I am no artist. As much as I'd love to be the next Picasso, it's just not going to happen. Which is why I have struggled to wrap my head around the concept of Perspective, let alone complete accurate drawings, myself.
ONE POINT PERSPECTIVE
One point perspective is simple enough to understand, as it has only a single vanishing point. We all drew these types of images as children, often with a visible horizon line. But after this, it gets a bit tricky...
TWO POINT PERSPECTIVE
An easy way to grasp the concept of two point is that it can be used to draw the same objects as one-point perspective, rotated: looking at the corner of a house, or looking at two forked roads shrink into the distance.
THREE POINT PERSPECTIVE
This is where I get lost. The third point, I assume, is the point at which the buildings recede into the ground?
This will take some getting used to...
